NATALIE ALYN LIND IS BUILDING A CAREER BEYOND DUTTON RANCH — AND HER SHOCK SURVIVOR CONFESSION COMES WITH A WARNING ABOUT WHAT SHE MIGHT DO NEXT The 26-year-old actress, known for playing Oreana in Paramount+’s record-breaking series, reveals she is actively planning a future on Survivor while also teasing explosive twists in the Season 1 finale and preparing for Season 2.

Natalie Alyn Lind may be one of the standout faces of Paramount+’s breakout hit Dutton Ranch, but the rising star is already thinking about her next challenge — and it has nothing to do with scripts or cowboy boots.

At a recent appearance at Crown Royal whiskey’s “Bring It” campaign launch in Los Angeles, the 26-year-old actress revealed she has her sights set on an entirely different kind of competition series: Survivor.

And she’s not just casually interested.

Dutton Ranch star Natalie Alyn Lind told Daily Mail that she's hoping to compete on the reality TV competition series Survivor

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Lind made it clear she’s already had conversations that could point toward a future on the long-running reality franchise.

“I went to the Survivor finale and I was talking to the producers and they said they want me, I’m just trying to figure out if it makes sense with filming season two of Dutton Ranch,” she said.

That potential scheduling conflict is the only thing standing in her way for now, and Lind says her priorities are firmly with her current show.

“I have prior commitments so I’m going to stay loyal to Dutton Ranch and then I’m gonna go on,” she continued.

The 26-year-old plays Oreana Lynn Jackson in the Yellowstone spin-off Dutton Ranch, which is currently the biggest show on Paramount+

Then came the statement that instantly sparked fan excitement.

“I will be on Survivor. It’s not an if, it’s a when!”

It’s a bold declaration, but Lind’s confidence reflects just how much momentum she’s currently riding. As Dutton Ranch continues its first season run on Paramount+, the Yellowstone spinoff has already become the streamer’s biggest original series launch to date, cementing its place as one of the most successful new dramas of the year.

Lind plays Oreana Lynn Jackson, a character quickly becoming central to the emotional core of the series. Oreana is the love interest of Carter Green, the foster son of Beth Dutton, portrayed by Kelly Reilly. Their storyline has added a younger, more vulnerable layer to a show otherwise dominated by power struggles, land disputes, and family legacy battles.

For Lind, joining the Yellowstone universe has been both a professional milestone and a lifestyle shift.

The actress has embraced the show’s rugged Texas setting, where filming has immersed the cast in the modern cowboy culture that defines the franchise. That environment, she admits, has even influenced her personal habits in unexpected ways.

“There’s so much whiskey drinking out there and that’s kind of the cowboy thing to do, so I found myself drinking more whiskey than I ever have,” she said.

Lind added that her experience filming in Nashville on a previous project also contributed to her appreciation for whiskey culture, noting that she has long been a fan of Crown Royal, particularly its green apple flavor.

It’s a small detail, but one that highlights how deeply the actress has leaned into the aesthetic and atmosphere of the roles she’s taken on in recent years.

Still, Lind’s ambitions stretch far beyond acting alone.

In addition to Dutton Ranch and her reality TV aspirations, she has stepped into the world of producing with her own company, Big Bad Pig Productions. The move signals a broader shift for the actress, who is increasingly focused on building creative control behind the camera as well as in front of it.

The company’s first project, Halloween Store, is a horror-comedy film that Lind not only stars in but also helped assemble from the ground up.

The actress has a lead role in the upcoming horror film Halloween Store, which she produced herself

According to the actress, the project is deeply personal.

“It’s an amazing movie,” Lind said. “It’s a movie that I put together. I brought together the financing and the cast.”

She described the film as a love letter to the horror genre, a space she has long admired as a fan. The story centers on a group of friends and co-workers who become trapped inside a costume store on Halloween night while a masked killer stalks them outside.

For Lind, the project represents a major step in her evolution as a filmmaker.

“I’m a huge horror fan, so it’s kind of like my love letter to horror and everybody that’s seen it absolutely loves it,” she said.

Halloween Store is expected to release later this year, marking what could be a significant expansion of her career beyond television drama.

While her producing ambitions grow, Lind is still firmly planted in the world of Dutton Ranch, where season one is building toward its finale on July 3. And if her recent comments are any indication, audiences should expect a major shake-up in the final episode.

Lind teased that episode nine will dramatically reframe everything viewers think they understand about the season so far.

“Episode nine that’s about to come out, that episode takes everything that’s been said the entire season and flips it,” she said.

She stopped short of revealing specifics, but hinted at a major moment involving key characters that will fundamentally alter the direction of the story.

“I really don’t think anybody’s gonna see things coming. There is a very specific scene that I’m talking about… I can’t say too much,” she added.

What she did confirm is that no character relationship will remain untouched by the finale’s events.

“There are characters that you love and characters that you hate and everything is flipped.”

That kind of high-stakes storytelling has become a hallmark of the Yellowstone universe, and Dutton Ranch has leaned heavily into that tradition. From shifting alliances to unexpected betrayals, the series has consistently delivered the kind of twists that keep audiences locked in week after week.

Oreana’s storyline, in particular, has placed Lind at the heart of some of the show’s most emotionally charged moments. Her relationship with Carter has added both tenderness and tension to the series, especially as the broader Dutton family drama continues to escalate around them.

As season one heads toward its conclusion, viewers are bracing for the fallout from whatever the finale reveals. With a second season already confirmed, it’s clear that the events of episode nine will serve as a launching point for even more complicated storylines ahead.

For Lind, however, the future is already taking shape on multiple fronts.

Between Dutton Ranch, Survivor, and her growing production slate, she is rapidly evolving from rising television star into a multi-hyphenate creative force. Few actors manage to balance network drama success with entrepreneurial filmmaking and reality TV ambitions at the same time, but Lind appears determined to do exactly that.

Lind also teased the season one finale of Dutton Ranch, telling Daily Mail that viewers will be blindsided as everything they thought they knew will be 'flipped' in the episode

Her enthusiasm for Survivor may seem like a surprising pivot, but it fits neatly into a broader pattern: a willingness to challenge herself in completely different formats, whether that means surviving scripted gunfights on a modern Western ranch or enduring the unpredictable conditions of a remote island competition.

If anything, her trajectory suggests she isn’t interested in staying in one lane for long.

As Dutton Ranch continues its record-breaking run and her production company prepares its first release, Lind stands at the center of a rapidly expanding career. And with her outspoken confidence about eventually joining Survivor, it seems clear she’s only getting started exploring what comes next.

For fans, that means two things: plenty more Oreana Lynn Jackson drama still to come — and, eventually, the very real possibility of seeing one of television’s newest breakout stars trade scripted chaos for the unpredictable reality of Survivor.
